It snowed with grade 4 wind. Visibility is poor even at Erdaobaihe. Hence all activities at Changbaishan are closed. Out of 10 activities only the Rime rafting and 1172 event can be fulfilled. The travel agent couldn't find enough experienced driver for us. We had the replacement driver who knows almost nothing of the attractions. I am glad I asked for suggestions of other activities, the driver is helpful and pleasing, he contacted the travel agent and recommended a few other activities for us, such as the ATV ride in the snow forrest, flying ride to view the Changbaishan and others as well. Of all, we really enjoyed the Rime rafting, our favourite, and ATV ride. Thank you for the doing your best. We received the agreed refund as detailed in the itinerary through Trip.com. I feel that Changbaishan is better view in Spring or Summer. Winter stands lesser chance due to the weather. With >Grade 3 wind speed, the Heaven Lake is closed. Other activities nearby are worth the trip.โ

The itinerary was exceptionally well-planned, with a perfect pace, allowing us to fully enjoy both attractions without feeling rushed.

Dazu Rock Carvings, located in Dazu District, Chongqing, is one of the region's most important historical sites. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999 and is also ranked as a 5A-level tourist attraction in China. The ancient rock carvings, dating back over a thousand years, began around the 9th century during the early Tang Dynasty and continued until the 13th century during the Song Dynasty, spanning several hundred years. There are over 50,000 large and small stone sculptures/carves, along with over 100,000 Chinese characters inscribed, scattered across the cliffs of five major mountains: Beishan, Shizhuanshan, Shimenshan, Nanshan, and Baodingshan. Each site features unique styles, art, and themes, adding variety and charm to the viewing experience.
The purchased day trip covered two locations: Beishan and Baodingshan. A guided tour of the Dazu Rock Carvings Museum was provided, with commentary throughout the various floors of the museum. I made the right decision buying this tour. It was worth it. I recommend it.โ

Many thanks to Mr. Hu, the handsome and considerate driver and guide from Chongqing Hangwei Travel Agency. The journey from Chongqing to Wulong involves nearly 6 hours on the highway and another hour on the winding mountain roads, both extremely steep and difficult to drive. However, he drove very smoothly, without any bumps or sudden braking. It was the most comfortable mountain road experience I've had in my 20 years of travel. He was very meticulous and considerate, providing detailed and thoughtful explanations of the key points at each attraction. Especially for our small group of 8, which included 44 Australian friends, he was particularly patient in explaining and reminding us of everything. In the evening, he even took us to a hot pot restaurant near the hotel, near the entrance of Shenxian Street. Absolutely fantastic! ๐๐๐ Thank you again, Mr. Hu, for your hard work and companionship throughout the day! ๐โ

The 8-seat bus was comfortable, and the driver was very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. One day I didn't know where to go, and she helped me find someone and book the tickets. I had a great day, so thank you! The itinerary was well-planned, with no tour guide and no shopping stops. Everything was included except for the 40 RMB electric cart ride to Blue Moon Valley. Lunch was a small hot pot with unlimited rice, and pick-up and drop-off from the hotel was also included in the tour fee. The driver picked us up from my hotel at 5:20 am, which was very kind of her. The day trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was very enjoyable. The cold-weather clothing and oxygen cylinders were also included; buying or renting them would cost around 100 RMB. It was a great value day trip. The scenic area has shuttle buses, which are also included. It's definitely worth joining a tour; going on your own is very risky and hassle-free.๎ฅ
