River cruise was relaxing, saw some monkeys, will depend on your luck. Sunset was amazing. Dinner was not as bad as expected. But the fireflies were out of this world.. like fairy lights on an Xmas tree. Guides were very friendly and helpful.★

I think this is a very worthwhile part of Kota Kinabalu; the fireflies are beautiful, and the tour guide is excellent. Aside from the slightly bumpy ride on the main road, there are no other downsides.★

Our tour guide, Xiao Chen, was lovely and wonderful! There were more places to eat than we expected, and fresh coconuts were available for purchase. The mountain road was a bit bumpy, but that was unavoidable given the environment. There was also a free farm where we could feed the animals, which were very cute. The staff on the boats to see the monkeys and fireflies were all very cheerful. It was a very worthwhile trip!★

Excellent value, absolutely excellent value! The guide led us in the rainforest searching for proboscis monkeys. We found about 6-7 families. In the end, only our boat was still searching; the other boats had already gone back. The guide also made sure everyone on the boat could see the fireflies at night. After the people on the left finished watching, he would turn around to let the people on the right see them. By the way, his name is Dudy. I'd call him the most energetic worker. Attached is a photo of Dudy that my companion unintentionally took. I hope he sees this "life's work photo."★

During the Chinese New Year, the price of over 500 yuan per person is definitely not as good as usual, and a lot of time is wasted waiting for people to be picked up. Normally, with around 300+ people and fewer people, the experience would be much better. Overall, I'm still willing to give it a good review, because it's truly remarkable that they were able to arrange food, drinks, and entertainment for so many people with different itineraries and requirements, and even provide staggered pick-up and drop-off services during the Chinese New Year holiday. Although the journey is long, the scenery is stunning, and we even saw some wildlife 👍. The itinerary was rich and varied, including snorkeling, sightseeing, monkey watching, firefly watching, sunset viewing, and ironwork performances. We drove back and forth several times on an extremely bumpy road near the Kawa entrance 😂. The downsides are that the morning was rushed; we were too pressed for time on the island. There wasn't much to see while snorkeling; we only caught a few fish with bread. Furthermore, the resort was just an area enclosed by iron railings, with no hot water, and we had to queue to shower in smelly toilets. We didn't see the white sandbar, had a long lunch queue, and didn't take many photos before leaving. The bubbles sprayed on the sand looked a bit dirty and not dreamy at all. The transparent paddleboards weren't enough to keep us entertained, and they started rushing us back after we only took a few photos. The boats rocked so much in the big waves that it gave me a headache. These things are understandable and acceptable, but I was a little disappointed that the experience didn't match the description.★
