We never expected to get a chance to visit Favela. It was an absolutely fun, interesting, and unique experience. Our guide, Carlos, was professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour! Totally safe too :) We participated in the Favela tour with five people. It was a very valuable experience, being safe, meeting artists in the favela, and visiting the community center. The price isn't exactly cheap, but because you can participate in the tour safely, it's definitely worth the price. If you visit São Paulo, you should definitely try it!
