The Coromandel scenery was stunning from dairy farms in the valleys through to hillsides covered with tropical fern trees and pines on hill sides . And the hot spring beach is fun and watch out for big heat spots. The cathedral cove is truly beautiful. Jamie our driver was full of fun facts.★

A fantastic way to see Tauranga, made even better by our South African–gone–Kiwi bus driver, Norm. He struck the perfect balance between being genuinely informative and effortlessly funny. The commentary was engaging, full of local insight, and delivered with great timing and humour. That said, despite Norm’s best efforts, the smooth ride and scenic views did lead to a few passengers nodding off — their loss entirely. Anyone who missed Norm’s one liners definitely missed out. And for those who don’t get Norm as their driver… well, respectfully, you’re missing out too (with no disrespect at all to the other drivers). An enjoyable, relaxed tour with plenty of laughs, great sights, and a guide who clearly loves what he does. Highly recommended — especially if you stay awake 😉.★

What’s a wonderful way to experience the glow? Our guide was passionate about the things he was showing us and all the flora and Forner in the bush. He was very knowledgeable of the things around him. To top it off at the end, we had a lovely hot chocolate to warm us up★

Very informative tour and very ethical and respectful of the kiwis. It was wonderful to learn about the kiwi and everything that is being done to protect them. I didn’t realise kiwis were so big and heavy. We were able to hold weighted objects to get a better understanding of the kiwi’s weight at different life stages. Highly recommend for animal and nature lovers
