Reviews: Porto: Cálem Cellar with Chocolate, Cheese, and Wine Tasting
Guest User2026-02-13
Because we were there on a cold, rainy day we were the only people on the English tour so it was like a private tour for us! Matthew our guide was very informative and entertaining. Would recommend if you are interested in learning about the history and manufacturing of port wine. The tasting was a good way to compare the different varieties you just learned about.
Reviews: Porto: Guided e-bike tours in Porto and Gaia

It was a great bike experience around Porto. Husband and I got to see lots of things we wouldn’t have seen if it wasn’t because of the tour. Our guide Mariner was wonderful. A local, kind man that was so informative and passionate about his birth place. E-bikes in this experience is a must because there are lots of hills to climb. I highly recommend this tour specially if it’s a sunny day. Please don’t do this tour if it’s raining in Porto.

Andreas was full of information about all of the stops on this tour. He was able to answer all of our (and the others guests) questions. He brought us to a beautiful picture point to see islet vila do campo and at the end brought us to the top of the volcanic crater (about 2000 meters up). This allowed us to see all of the Furnas (including the church that we stopped at earlier that day) in a whole new way. He was very very articulate with explaining the process for both the tea and the pineapple plantations. This tour was a good balance (about 50/50) of structured group time and independent time to explore the stops.

Exceptional day out - even through the pouring rain, our guide, King George 11, was knowledgeable and witty and made the tour so enjoyable. Great food and wine, beautiful vineyards visited - I can’t wait for my next visit to the valley! Cheers, Ali ☘️💚
Reviews: Lisbon: Fado Show and Portuguese Dinner

Fantastic dinner and Fado show! A huge thank you to Antonio and Tamara who explained everything about Fado to us; it was very interesting, and they even translated the Portuguese songs for us! I had a wonderful time, and even though I was alone, it was a friendly and enjoyable experience shared with some very nice Austrian women!
