▲ Covering just 0.25 hectares, this is Singapore's smallest park. It features two Merlion statues crafted from concrete by the late renowned local artisan Lim Nang Seng. The larger Merlion stands 8.6m tall, weighs 70 tons, and continuously sprays water from its mouth. It was unveiled by Lee Kuan Yew on September 15, 1972. The smaller Merlion measures 2m in height and weighs 3 tons.

▲ This European-style architectural complex, located between Victoria Street and North Bridge Road in the city center, was originally built between 1840–1841 and has over a century of history. Designed by renowned colonial architect George Coleman, it began as the Goodwill House and gradually expanded to its current scale. Centered around a magnificent Gothic cathedral, the rectangular courtyard-style layout features wide inner courtyards, sunken plaza gardens, and two- to three-story European buildings. Some areas are enclosed by single-story Spanish-style structures, with every detail exuding rich classical charm.

▲ Fort Canning Park was originally known as "Bukit Larangan," meaning "Forbidden Hill" in Malay, serving as the residence of Malay royalty during the medieval period. In 1819, after British statesman Stamford Raffles landed at the mouth of the Singapore River, he built the Governor's residence atop the hill and later established his own home there. During World War II, the site housed the British military headquarters until Singapore fell in 1942 and was occupied by Japanese forces until the war's end. After the war, Fort Canning Park transitioned from a military base to green space, officially opening to the public in 1954. Instagrammable spot: The viral "Dragon's Hole" tree tunnel is a popular photo spot in the park. It is actually the light well of a bunker on Fort Canning Hill, featuring a unique spiral staircase surrounded by lush vines and greenery, creating...

▲ Little India retains a strong Indian cultural atmosphere, with vibrant streets filled with South Indian-style buildings, temples, and shops. The air is fragrant with spices and floral scents, while stores display silverware, copperware, jewelry, jasmine garlands, and silk saris. The Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is one of Singapore's finest Hindu temples, built in 1855 and dedicated to the goddess Kali. The Tan Teng Niah House is a colorful two-story building blending European and Chinese architectural styles. The Abdul Gaffoor Mosque, constructed in 1859, is one of the island's oldest mosques and is designated as a national monument.

▲ The buildings along Arab Street showcase a blend of Malay, Indian, and European cultural influences. The shophouses lining both sides of the street preserve traditional Chinese architectural styles while also featuring distinct Arab designs. This vibrant thoroughfare is lined with specialty stores that once made it Singapore's famous textile paradise, and it remains a prime destination for high-quality silks, batik fabrics, and other distinctive textiles.

▲ Haji Ln was originally an empty street lined with pre-war houses, but the arrival of many local designers and young entrepreneurs has revitalized this old alley. The walls of the alley are covered with colorful graffiti and 3D murals, and the unique decorations give the entire street a strong artistic atmosphere, making it a popular spot for many visitors and locals.

▲ Bugis is one of Singapore's main commercial hubs and a district rich in history and culture. It serves as Singapore's arts and cultural heritage precinct, with nearby attractions including the National Museum of Singapore, Peranakan Museum, and national monuments like the Armenian Church and Central Fire Station. The area is also home to several educational institutions such as the Singapore Art Academy, Singapore Management University, and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

▲ Old Hill Street Police Station is located at 140 Hill Street in Singapore. Built in 1934, it originally housed the Hill Street Police Station and barracks. Upon completion, it was considered a modern skyscraper. In 1998, it was designated as a National Monument, and in 2000, it became the office building for the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts. In 2012, it was renamed Old Hill Street Police Station. The building features strong neoclassical architectural style, incorporating popular British elements of the time such as Roman Doric columns. It boasts 927 rainbow-colored windows, with the first four floors having windows of equal color intensity, while the fifth and sixth floors gradually deepen in hue to accentuate the cantilevered balconies, making it a prominent landmark in the colonial district.
