Reviews: Hotel Transfers•Rowing Boat•Small Group | Day tour to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Maeklong Railway Market in Bangkok | Optional Private Tour

A must-see attraction in Bangkok, it's very unique. The floating market, which you can take a boat around and see a lot of local snacks, is a good place to eat. It's best not to eat on the main street, as it's more expensive. The train station felt a bit dangerous, but thankfully the trains were slow and the vendors packed up quickly. After the announcement, they were ready in a few minutes. It was a spectacular sight.
Reviews: Day trip to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market with free rowing experience

When our tour guide, Roy, announced that we were the only group that day—a private tour—I thought I'd hit the jackpot, but I was also a little worried that she might try to fob us off. Surprisingly, she remained very enthusiastic and helpful throughout the trip, even diligently resolving our phone and internet card issues! (Unrelated to the itinerary). Thanks to Roy for helping with the photos; the itinerary time was well-managed. I recommend booking a tour that departs earlier to avoid the horrific traffic jams!

A very high-quality excursion. A definite plus was the insurance arrangements at the beginning of the trip. A comfortable minibus for 10-12 people (English-speaking group) and, of course, a wonderful guide, Tutupi. We enjoyed every part of the trip and can highly recommend it. It was a wonderful first day of the year.
Reviews: One-day tour in Ayutthaya, Bangkok / vip shared tour & private tour / sugar cake for free

This day's itinerary was my favorite part of the entire Thailand trip. First of all, I want to thank our tour guide, Ah Ling. She was incredibly professional, sharing a wealth of knowledge with us. She followed us the whole way, explaining things as we went, and even taking photos for us. She was both professional and kind. On the way back, she even helped my uncle find the route to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and ensured his safe arrival. Overall, this trip was wonderful, with beautiful people and stunning scenery.
Reviews: Private Car Tour Departing from Bangkok: Sanctuary of Truth + Seven Gems Mountain (Wat Khao Chi Chan) + Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden + Tutu Beach
Guest User2025-11-19
My favorite part of the tour was the Sanctuary of Truth. Kudos to Pamela, our Filipino guide, who explained the history and meaning behind the carvings beautifully. We were amazed, but with the 1.5-hour tour, we didn’t have time to take our own photos before rushing to the next stop. At Nong Nooch Garden, it was extremely hot, and although lunch was included, the food wasn’t good—I even found a vegetable worm in my salad and the staff didn’t react. We watched a show, but the driver told us to leave before exploring. The elephant show also made me feel sad. The garden tour felt more for kids. At Buddha Mountain we only had 5–10 minutes, and at Tutu Beach we had to buy food just to sit. The worst part was the unexpected 400 THB “OT” fee, never mentioned beforehand. Everything felt rushed because the driver wanted to finish by 5 PM. It defeated the purpose of booking a private car. Beautiful places, but overall rushed, stressful, and not worth the extra cost.
Reviews: [Private Transfer] Safari Park Kanchanaburi + RIVER KWAI BRIDGE + Death Railway day tour|Private tour
Guest User2025-12-22
If you are looking for a day trip from Bangkok that offers more than just shopping and temples, this Kanchanaburi itinerary is an absolute must-do. It was the highlight of my Bangkok trip! The day started with a bang at the famous bridge. It's a beautiful spot for a stroll. Standing on such a significant piece of World War II history while looking out over the peaceful river was the perfect way. Then, walking along the historic wooden viaducts of the Death Railway was a surreal experience. The railway hugs the side of a cliff with the beautiful River Kwai flowing directly below. Watching the train slowly pass over the vintage tracks is a moment I won't soon forget. It's a powerful mix of stunning natural scenery and sobering history. Finally, the highlight was definitely the Giraffe Encounter at Safari Park. Getting to feed these gentle giants from the bus-or opting for the private Jeep photoshoot-was incredible. The giraffes are so friendly and hungry! It's an interactive experience.
