It was a fantastic English-language day tour with friends from all over the world on board. The drivers were from Nepal, the US, and New Zealand. They were very friendly and professional. The journey was quite tiring, but Ye kept chatting with us, making us feel less lonely. Although the itinerary was rushed, it was still very fulfilling, and we visited all the places we wanted to see.★

Very nice! Akoroa was such a cute village and the stops along the way were pleasant surprises! Tasted and bought some cheese and had contracted for the lunch which was DELICIOUS! I had the salmon and my husband had the fish and chips. The crew on the boat were equally as helpful and got into some fun conversations with Ben who helped spot those dolphins and a few penguins.★

Cheryl was the best guide with stories and fun facts about the LOTR movies and about the areas we were going to. I really appreciated getting the chance to talk to her on the hike up, she was very personable and patient with all my questions. I also love that we got to stop at the gorge and Clearwater, seeing even more of this beautiful country. Our sandwiches were delicious! I inhaled the little lunchbox they gave me and loved how filling it was. You don’t eat lunch until about 3pm so when you stop at the general store, definitely grab a steak pie and some chips to hold you over. I thought the van we drove in was well kept up, definitely older and a bit cramped, but it was good for getting to know the others and I was so grateful for the air conditioning! Absolutely worth the money, I’m so glad I went with this tour and loved how straight forward and exciting the experience was!★
