Since I was on a tour with Chinese people, communication was difficult. The guide spoke so fast that I could barely understand anything. We had to eat at designated restaurants, and the prices were on the expensive side. Since you have to take the train directly from Shanghai, I recommend going independently rather than on a tour. Perhaps because I had high expectations for Suzhou, it wasn't much different from Suzhou, and I think Suzhou was better.

Our family arrived late because our flight had a passenger who had a medical emergency. Stella was able to communicate with our driver who arrived at the exact time when my family made it to our hotel at the pick up location. We were only able to do 1 part of the tour, but it was out of anyone’s control. We are grateful our driver Mr. Xu was able to make our trip less stressful. Both Stella and Mr. Xu gave us great customer service. Thank you!
