Large group itinerary:
Depart from Glasgow in the early morning and head north, stopping for a break at the coastal town of Tyndrum in northern England along the way. Then continue to Glencoe to experience the magnificent scenery of the valley, take photos, and learn about its history. Proceed through the Highlands to Fort William for lunch, where you can enjoy views of the lake and gaze at Ben Nevis in the distance. After lunch, head east to the Glenfinnan Viaduct, famous for its appearances in the Harry Potter films. In summer, you might even witness the classic moment when the Jacobite Steam Train crosses the viaduct (Note: The steam train is operated by another company, so its operation cannot be guaranteed). The Glenfinnan Monument stands amidst the mountains by Loch Shiel, symbolizing a significant historical event in Scotland. Spend about an hour here to learn about the Jacobite history and capture the surrounding Scottish landscapes. Begin the return journey to Glasgow from Glenfinnan, crossing the "Neptune's Staircase," a series of canal locks that represent an engineering marvel in Scotland. Continue south, passing by Loch Lomond, and take a break in the town of Tarbet before heading back to Glasgow.
