Clive was a great guide, very helpful and knowledgeable. Followed his recommendation to take a jet boat ride at the home of jet boats, Alpine Jet. I'm glad I did, as I'm sure that I would have regretted it if I hadn't. Castle Hill was spectacular, the views from the other side of Arthur's Pass took the breath away, especially when Clive pointed out the original route of the road, across the scree slope. Otira Stagecoach Hotel was eccentric and the coffee wasn't that bad... Also glad I took the walk to Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall, although it did test my fitness levels.★

We had an awesome morning out on the lake with Pickles (and Oscar), he was welcoming from the start and was full of knowledge about the lake and surrounding area. We had the lake all to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed the views as well as the laughs, stories and knowledge Pickles shared with us. We would all highly recommend a kayaking trip with the guys, it’s been one of our favourite activities of the trip! Thanks again Pickles and Oscar, from Lewis, Conn, Molly and Lexi!About
