The car was not a Tesla, the change was not announced which makes us doubt if we were in the right car. The claimed that it was a busy week but still I believe that if you wont fulfill reservation you should say something in advance.ā

It was amazing!! John was an amazing guide, giving a detailed tour for both the Yu Gardens and the City God Temple and also taking as in the best places to shop in the market next to Yuyuan. I would definitely recommend him as a guide!!ā

I couldn't speak Chinese and didn't want to stand in long lines in the heat, so I looked into VIP tours. Since it was difficult to book on the official website, I booked a package on Trip.com that allowed access to more attractions than a standard pass.
However, after seeing a review of the same product by a famous YouTuber, my worries grew, and I even considered canceling. But with my departure date fast approaching, I went ahead with the itinerary, half-giving up on the idea.
The day before the tour, the guide contacted me first to coordinate our meeting time, and on the day of the tour, they even gave me a small gift, so we got off to a great start. Upon entry, they immediately checked with staff whenever we had questions and continuously adjusted our itinerary to minimize our route to the rides we wanted to see. They even recommended photo zones first.
I was particularly impressed by how they kept checking the Disney page for times and routes even while we were resting, and how they seemed even more disappointed than us as the parade time approached, hurrying to find the right path for us. It ended up being canceled due to rain, though, haha. They also shared many small tips, such as how to avoid cutting in line while waiting.
I was worried because it wasn't cheap, but I was satisfied. I got plenty of rest, rode everything I wanted to ride, and saw everything there was to see, so in my opinion, I really got my money's worth!
However, if you expect insider knowledge on the level of a Disney employee or the ability to board immediately via a separate route like an official VIP, your satisfaction might be lower.
I would recommend it to those who, like me, cannot speak Chinese and want to enjoy themselves comfortably without worrying about checking routes or schedules.ā

Before the bullet-riddled walls, the tragic grandeur of the film "The Eight Hundred" becomes tangible. The fireworks on the south bank of the Suzhou Creek are no longer what they once were, but the history of Xie Jinyuan leading eight hundred brave soldiers to defend Sihang Warehouse will not be forgotten. Director Xiao is excellent; his explanations are spot-on, covering the historical, cultural, and political background, making it very beneficial for both adults and children. I recommend purchasing a ticket; these kinds of exhibitions definitely benefit from professional explanations rather than wandering around aimlessly.ī„
