An unforgettable tour to Tianmen Mountain and Fenghuang Ancient Town. The mountain impresses with spectacular views, a cable car, and the famous Heaven's Gate. Fenghuang enchants with its traditional architecture, bridges, and the illuminated river at dusk. A perfect combination of magnificent nature and authentic Chinese culture. Our guide Nissa was very attentive, explaining everything about the place, the people, and the customs.

Why was my itinerary limited to boarding at Dongdaemun, while other tour companies allowed boarding at Myeongdong and Hongdae? I was staying in Myeongdong, woke up at 6:00 AM, had breakfast, and rushed to Dongdaemun by subway at 7:40 AM. I even went to the wrong exit and boarded the wrong tour bus! After boarding at Dongdaemun, the tour bus drove back to Myeongdong subway station exit 8 to pick up other tourists. It felt like I was being tossed around between Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. The toboggan ride was thrilling, and feeding the seagulls shrimp chips was fun. The bicycles were very tiring; it took my friend and me 30 minutes to pedal back and forth 🤣🤣. The restaurant for lunch was delicious; it would have been better if the tour guide had been more attentive.

Our tour guide, Liu, proactively added us to the group chat the day before the trip to remind us of important travel tips, which was very thoughtful. The 8:20 AM meeting point was perfect; we were comfortable sleeping and eating on the bus throughout the journey. Before arriving at each attraction, the guide gently woke us up and provided a bilingual (Chinese/Japanese) introduction to the key points of the visit, making it a hassle-free tour. I was delighted to experience my first and second snowfalls with my child in the Takayama and Gassho-zukuri villages, but unfortunately, the rain and snow made it incredibly cold, limiting the number of beautiful photos we could take.

I took a Hoi An day tour with my guide, Thanh. He even brought a raincoat in case it rained. He provided helpful explanations of every nook and cranny of Hoi An, even showing us photo spots. He even gave me some great tips on the night market. The day tour was a success.


