Reviews: Kyoto Kifune Shrine, Arashiyama, and Sanzen-in Temples: A 9-person Small Group Tour to Enjoy the Cool Summer and Autumn Leaves
Guest User2025-10-19
I only signed up the afternoon before, and the tour fee of 300+ RMB for a small group of nine was surprisingly good value. The itinerary was reasonable, the pace was just right, and it wasn't rushed. The driver/guide, Nick Lee, was very friendly and attentive to detail. The bus was very clean and odor-free. Since littering in Japan is troublesome, they provided trash bags on the bus. It rained that day, and they even provided transparent umbrellas, perfect for taking photos. He provided commentary on the bus, speaking both Mandarin and English, catering to different group members. At each attraction, Nick would privately send me the meeting point and time. Sanzen-in Temple was a delightful surprise—tranquil and healing, which I loved. The water fortune-telling at Kifune Shrine was also fun; I got a very auspicious fortune slip! Overall, I was very satisfied.

Today was a wonderful trip with Amy! She was more than just a tour guide—she shared fascinating stories and insightful travel tips, recommended amazing restaurants, and even acted as our personal photographer on the bus. Her energy and professionalism made the experience truly special. I highly recommend her to my friends when they visit!

It was a very good experience. Enjoyed the tour. Our English speaking tour guide Mr.Yang was very accommodating. The places were very serine and beautiful. Would recommend for a stress free day tour.

Sean our guide was one of the best I ever had! Very cheerful, full of knowledge, jokes with you, and made this trip one of the best I had from this company! If you want a fun adventure, small group, that's the one you should go for! Thank you!
Reviews: one-day tour of Kiyomizu Temple in Nara, Kyoto, Japan [9-person small group optional|Hotel pickup|Chinese and English driver guide

The time was too short. We weren't scheduled to return to Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM), and the driver/guide had already returned to Osaka by 5 PM! It was too rushed. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM, and had to get back on the bus to Osaka at 3:35 PM. If we went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka before Gion, there wouldn't be time to visit Kiyomizu-dera (3 hours including lunch). If we had another half hour, it would have been perfect.
