I took my first independent trip to Osaka and Kyoto on a day tour with guide Seokbong Oh. It was my first independent trip, so I was a bit nervous, but the moment I met guide Seokbong Oh, all my nerves melted away. He was so friendly and thorough with his explanations that I couldn't sleep. He was so engaging and funny that I laughed and had a great time. I also wanted to express my gratitude to our driver for his safe driving. If you meet guide Seokbong Oh during your Osaka trip, you've won the lottery. ^^★

Kyoto and Nara are must-see destinations on any Kansai trip. Every corner of Kyoto exudes elegance and Zen-like tranquility; in Nara, the ancient trees and gentle, bowing deer of Todai-ji Temple add a touch of dynamism to this ancient capital. It was a very enjoyable trip. Our guide, Xiao Tian, was very nice and provided excellent service, introducing attractions and offering suggestions for the itinerary. The other members of our group were also very punctual, and the atmosphere was wonderful.★

On February 6th, we visited Sanzen-in Temple, Kibune, and Arashiyama. Our tour guide was Jiang Jun (Fukuda Hiroichi), and I would give him a five-star rating! The bus was a small, clean vehicle, although the seating was quite small. But that's typical for Japanese buses, so there's not much to do about it. The departure and return times for the attractions were well-managed. The driver was very attentive and responsible in answering our questions, and driving felt very safe. Since the passengers were all quite quiet and reserved, the bus was relatively quiet with little guided tour, which I believe is understandable, as he needed to concentrate on driving. Therefore, the lack of detailed explanations of the attractions was acceptable. One thing to note is that the driver showed me the seats for the Arashiyama sightseeing train, but when we arrived, we found that the cable car was closed in winter. Please be aware of this when you go!★

The time was too short. We didn't arrive back in Osaka at the designated time (6:30 PM) as part of the program, and the driver and guide had already returned to Osaka at 5 PM! It was such a rush. We arrived at Kiyomizu-dera Temple at 12:35 PM and had to board the bus back to Osaka at 3:35 PM. We went to Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, then to Gion, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple (3 hours with meals included). We also visited nearby areas, leaving us no time to visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple. A half-hour extra would have been perfect.★
