People prohibited from diving experiences

The following individuals may not be able to adapt to underwater conditions due to physical limitations or may face health risks, and are therefore prohibited from participating in diving (including snorkeling and deep diving):

1. Patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases: such as heart disease, hypertension (systolic blood pressure ≥160mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥100mmHg), coronary heart disease, or history of cerebral infarction. Underwater pressure may trigger blood vessel rupture or excessive cardiac load.

2. Patients with respiratory diseases: Asthma (especially during uncontrolled episodes), pneumonia, pulmonary bullae, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), etc. Diving requires lung adaptation to pressure changes, and these conditions may lead to lung injuries (such as pneumothorax).

3. Ear/Nose Conditions: Otitis media (acute or chronic), sinusitis, nasal congestion (such as from a cold), etc. Equalizing ear pressure is a core diving skill, and ear conditions can lead to equalization failure, potentially causing eardrum rupture or vertigo.

4. Patients with neurological disorders: Those with a history of epilepsy, frequent migraines, or impaired consciousness may experience triggered episodes in underwater environments where timely rescue is unavailable.

5. Patients with metabolic diseases: Uncontrolled diabetes (prone to hypoglycemia or ketoacidosis), severe anemia, etc. The high energy consumption underwater may worsen the condition.

6. Other Circumstances:

① Recent (within 1 week) cold, fever, or sore throat (affecting ear pressure balance);

② Under the influence of alcohol or sedative/anesthetic drugs;

③ Pregnant women (especially during the first and third trimesters, as stress may affect the fetus);

④ Weak constitution, fatigue, or open wounds (prone to infection).
