We felt very well taken care of right from the start. After a short safety briefing, we headed out to sea, and our captain was in constant contact with the lookouts on land to spot animals for us. The first group was a bit shy and didn't let us get too close. When it was time to turn back, we passed a second, less shy group. They made a special stop for us, and we were able to observe the whales in peace. On the way back, they simply picked up the pace a bit. It was a truly fantastic tour, and we definitely recommend it!

Such a fab tour. Our transport was comfortable. The driver Diego Dojoogo is a great driver, with an excellent sense of humour, great English, and knows all of the best places. He was super helpful to me in the forest. Make sure to wear waterproof shoes! And deffo bring a rain jacket. I enjoyed the place we stopped for lunch and the recommendation for a local dish. The Maderia bread. Everything was fab on this tour and superb value for money. Diageo is a great representation of Portugal.

It was a wonderful tour of Funchal, and our guide went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable throughout – there were a few parts of Funchal we hadn't seen before. We now have a new favorite bar to enjoy our Poncha.
