From Lima: Day Trip to Paracas and the Huacachina Oasis

Pick-up from the meeting point outside the Marriott Hotel - Miraflores.

After a 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at our first stop, an artisan bakery. After your pickup, we'll prepare for an approximately 3-hour drive, with a stop at an artisan bakery. We'll give you some free time for a hot, freshly baked breakfast (optional).

Paracas Beach: Start of the excursion to the Ballestas Islands. We'll board the "El Chaco" tourist pier and board the gliders that will take you to the Ballestas Islands for over an hour. Along the way, we'll observe the Paracas candelabra, sea lions, penguins, and a wide variety of guano birds.

Pisco tasting: The highlight of the day is arriving at a wine and pisco winery and tourist restaurant, where you'll have free time for lunch with traditional Ica dishes (optional). We'll then head to the tasting room to sample more than five varieties of wines, piscos, and creams of the local liquor.

Huacachina Oasis: Arrival at the Huacachina Oasis, known as the Oasis of the Americas, where we'll engage in adventure sports with dune buggies, zipping up and down the Ica dunes at high speed. We'll feel like we're on a roller coaster, but on the sand. Upon reaching the top, we'll glide downhill on a sandboard, known as sandboarding in the Ica desert. You'll then have free time to stroll through the oasis.

5:00 PM Return to Lima: Around 6:00 PM, we'll make a brief stop to use the restroom and pick up some snacks. Then, we'll return to the vehicle to continue our journey to Lima. 9:30 PM (approx.): Our adventure ends. We'll depart from where you boarded.
