As soon as I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, I was worried about how to get from the airport to the city center, but
booking a private car service made things so convenient.
As soon as I stepped out, the driver was waiting with a sign with my name on it,
so I got in right away and went straight to my accommodation.
I didn't have to worry about taxi rip-offs,
and I didn't have to give a tip, so I felt really at ease.
Two suitcases fit comfortably,
and the car was clean and the air conditioning was powerful, which was great.
If this is your first time in Ho Chi Minh City, just book this.
Not having the stress of haggling over taxi fares right after leaving the airport

The ride was smooth and the timing was fine, and we arrived safely in Vung Tau. The booking confirmation was only in Vietnamese, so it was difficult to figure out where the ferry terminal was, which was a bit of a struggle. It would be even better if there were explanations of the departure and arrival locations in Japanese, along with a banner that links to a map. At the Bach Dang Ferry Terminal, you can relax at a cafe while waiting to board. This is unrelated to the ferry, but the taxi driver at our destination was pushy. It was hot so taking a taxi was a good idea, but I ended up paying 100,000 dong because I just went along with what he said. It's not that expensive when you consider it in Japanese yen, but it seems like about half that amount would have been more reasonable.
