Reviews: Florence: Boboli Gardens Reserved Entry Ticket & eBook
Guest User2026-02-19
We enjoyed our visit to the Boboli Gardens in Florence. It was a very pleasant place for a leisurely walk, with beautifully landscaped paths and several wonderful viewpoints overlooking the city and surrounding areas. The gardens offer a peaceful break from the busier parts of Florence and a nice sense of history and scale. That said, when we visited in February, there was quite a bit of restoration work underway. Some areas were partially closed or impacted by scaffolding, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Even so, we’re glad we went—the views and atmosphere still made it worthwhile, and it’s easy to imagine how stunning it will be once the restoration is complete.

I really liked the audio guide provided by the staff, as it indicated the location of the artworks in a numbered format, making it easy to follow and observe them. The information desk is very close to the Academy Museum.

Enzo was fantastic. He took us up into the Florence hills to see the city from a spectacular vantage point. He explained many details about the ancient city and it's large collection of artists and engineers. We saw Galileo's home and where he last lived under house arrest and the convent his daughters served in. He was great. The tours was a nice length and we got to see the sunset at Michaelangelo square. One of the best tours in Florence for sure.
