Day trip to the Humantay Lagoon in Cusco

The Humantay Lagoon is located near the majestic snowy Humantay, and it is through the melting of its snow that this beautiful lake was formed, a place where you can breathe pure air. It is one of the most beautiful and sacred lakes in Cusco, with its turquoise waters and the impressive view of the snow-capped mountain, creating a fascinating landscape. To reach it, it is necessary to make a demanding hike, but totally achievable for those who are adequately prepared.

- We start the excursion by picking you up at your hotel (near the Historic Center) between 4:00 and 5:00 in the morning.
- We will travel to Mollepata, where we will stop for breakfast.
- Then, we will continue our journey to a parking lot, where we will leave the transportation and start the hike.
- The hike lasts approximately 2 hours, and upon arriving at the lagoon, we will enjoy a brief guided tour, time to explore the area and take pictures of the scenery.
- Afterwards, we will return to the transportation and return to Mollepata for a delicious buffet lunch.
- We will finish the excursion arriving in Cusco around 6:00 - 6:30 p.m., near the Kusipata Plaza.
