Itinerary
Explore the Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve on a full-day tour from Paracas. See the Candelabro, a rock formation, and visit the Paracas National Reserve to see the Cathedral and Playa Roja.

Start your tour with a visit to the Ballestas Islands. Admire the Candelabro, a rock formation on the Paracas Peninsula. Continue to the islands to see rock formations and learn about the flora and fauna from your guide. Keep an eye out for animals such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and birds such as boobies, guanays, cormorants, and tendrils.

After the tour, enjoy free time to walk along Chaco Boulevard and visit the craft shops. Then, meet your guide at the Paracas Explorer office for the tour of the Paracas National Reserve.

In the Paracas National Reserve, visit the Cathedral, a rock formation caused by wind erosion. Continue to Playa Roja where you can make a short stop to enjoy the landscape. This beach is famous for its characteristic red sand.

Finally, stop at Lagunilla “Caleta de Pescadores” where you will have the opportunity to try the delicious dishes offered by the restaurants. Afterward, return to the starting point.
