Itinerary
Start your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai and travel to Chiang Rai, located in northern Thailand. On this tour, you'll explore some of the city's most remarkable temples: the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun), the Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten), and the Red Temple (Wat Huay Pla Kang). Along the way, enjoy a relaxing break at Mae Kachan Hot Spring and the enchanting Lalitta Café.

Begin with a visit to Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple—one of the most iconic landmarks in Thailand. This extraordinary temple is renowned for its all-white exterior and shimmering glass fragments embedded in the plaster. The white symbolizes the purity of the Buddha, while the glass reflects the Buddha's wisdom and the Dhamma, or Buddhist teachings.

Next, savor a Thai buffet lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Wat Rong Suea Ten, or the Blue Temple. Famous for its brilliant sapphire-blue color, this temple's name translates to “House of the Dancing Tiger,” a reference to the tigers that once roamed the area. The main building, or viharn (assembly hall), is guarded by large Naga serpents and features a richly adorned gable in traditional Lanna style, decorated with intricate floral patterns.

Your final temple stop is Wat Huay Pla Kang, often referred to as the "Big Buddha of Chiang Rai." This impressive site features a massive white statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. Located on a hill north of Chiang Rai town, the temple blends Thai Lanna and Chinese architectural styles and includes a nine-tiered pagoda, a Thai-style temple, and spacious grounds to explore.

After the temple visits, unwind at Lalitta Café, a captivating forest-themed café inspired by the mythical Himmapan Forest. The setting features lush greenery, misty pathways, and a dramatic artificial waterfall, creating a peaceful, fairytale-like atmosphere. Take a moment to relax and enjoy refreshments (food and drinks are at your own expense).

Conclude your day with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel, arriving around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
