Skagway: Yukon Dog Mushing & Sightseeing Tour

Experience the thrill of dog sledding with the dogs that will run over 1000 miles during the Iditarod and meet one of the professional mushers as they are actively training their team.

Depart from Skagway and venture deep into the Yukon Territory seeing a huge variety of landscapes and views. Stop at the Caribou Crossing Iditarod Training Camp for a lunch break.

Enjoy a 30-minute dog mushing adventure, an educational Q & A presentation on mushing by resident mushing experts, and a visit to the free puppy camp.

Feel the excitement of riding with an experienced dog sled musher over cut trails through the Yukon wilderness. Spot wildlife including bears, sheep, caribou, elk, lynx, fox, eagles, and moose.

Stop at the Caribou Crossing Iditarod Training Camp for a lunch break. Visit the wildlife museum and gift store, and enjoy some time at the petting zoo with goats, mini horses, and alpacas.

Continue to Emerald Lake and the Carcross Desert before returning to Skagway.
