Douro Valley: Private Tour & Guided Wine & Olive Oil Tasting

Our private experience invites you to discover Quinta de Santa Júlia with time and authenticity. On arrival, you will be welcomed by a knowledgeable host who will accompany you throughout.

We begin with a leisurely walk around the estate, private French-inspired gardens, historic corners, panoramic viewpoints and the surrounding vineyards. Along the way we share family stories and the history of the Douro and its wines, connecting the house to the region. You will also visit our Port wine cellar, where vintages are stored.

In the cellar we hold the guided tasting, four exceptional still wines and one Port, plus our extra virgin olive oil, all estate produced. We discuss terroir, grape varieties, viticulture and winemaking choices so you can understand the character and quality of our wines.

The experience is designed for unhurried enjoyment. If you wish, you are welcome to stay longer, stroll through the vineyards and woods, rest in the shade of the gardens or simply enjoy a glass of wine with a Douro view.
