Experience the essence of Japanese onsen culture — from steam baths and sand baths to relaxing foot baths. Walk through the historic Kannawa Onsen district, taste locally steamed Jigoku Mushi cuisine, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere filled with rising steam.

The tour includes admission to Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell), known for its deep blue waters and serene Japanese gardens. Other “Hell Tour” sites are optional and can be added depending on your interests; each location has its own entry fee, payable on the day.

Transportation Option:
Up to 3 guests can enjoy both walking and driving between locations in a Volkswagen up!, included in the tour price.
For groups of 4 or more, a taxi will be arranged at additional cost.
This allows you to experience Beppu comfortably — partly on foot and partly by car.

Optional wellness experiences such as a private onsen bath or steam chamber (mushi-yu) can also be arranged. After booking, simply reply to confirm your preferences, and we'll help you choose the best options for your group.

• To guarantee a fully private experience, please book the “Private Tour” option in advance. During busy seasons, other guests may join if a private slot isn't reserved.
