Itinerary
Vinicunca in Ausangate is the fifth highest mountain in Peru, with its 6384 meters high for centuries has received many names; "The Roof of the Inca Capital", "Vinicunca" (Hill of Colors), etc.. Guardian of the Cusco region, located in the district of Pitumarca, province of Canchis, Cusco region, in southern Peru; Ausangate is considered the most important mountain in the Andean cosmovision.

The pick up from your hotel will be at 04:00 hrs. to 04:30 hrs. the trip will take approximately 3 hours to the village of Pitumarca, in this place you will have breakfast.
We will continue our journey to the town of Chilca, from where we will start our hike.

The walk will be between 3 to 4 hours where we will appreciate beautiful landscapes full of streams, mountains, lagoons, snow-capped mountains as well as flora and fauna, after this time we will arrive to our desired destination Vinicunca or Cerro de Colores having adequate time to capture this magical place in photographs and in our memories, besides this place we can also appreciate the Apu Ausangate, the most revered snow-capped mountain by the Incas.

After living this magical experience we will descend again to Chilca where we will have lunch, finally we will return to the city of Cusco arriving at the Plaza Regocijo at 18:30 hrs approximately.
