Florianópolis: hike with one of the most beautiful views in Florianópolis

Departure time is flexible upon request. We'll leave Barra da Lagoa, passing over the Canal da Barra bridge.

Going up the hill, we'll make our first stop at the lookout facing the sea, with an immense view of the skyline, also seeing Xavier Island.

We'll continue along the top of the hill, with the trail passing through small stretches of forest.

Our next stop will be at Pedra da Boa Vista, with a unique view of the beaches and hills south of Florianópolis. From this spot, you can also see a large stretch of the Conceição Lagoon. At this point, you'll be practically in the center of the north-south distance of Santa Catarina Island on the east side.

After this fantastic view, we'll start our descent towards Galheta beach. This beach is inside the Galheta Natural Park, and we'll have about 20 minutes for a delightful swim.

Next, we'll hit the trail to nearby Praia Mole, a surfer's paradise, where we'll end our journey at Lay Back/Selina.

If you're heading back to Barra da Lagoa, you can take the city bus or an Uber, at your own expense.
