Get ready to discover the city of Malaga, its bay from a wonderful catamaran, and one of the most emblematic villages of the province, Mijas village, with its typical donkey cabs, in this full day.
Our first stop will be in Malaga, where we will take advantage of the coolness of the early morning hours to discover the center of the cosmopolitan capital of Malaga. We will start our guided visit at the traditional Central Market of Atarazanas, where we will learn about the history of the main monuments and places of interest of the city. We will walk to the emblematic Larios Street. We will walk by the Episcopal Palace, the Cathedral, the Picasso Museum, the Church of Santiago Apostle (the place where Picasso was baptized), and continue to the headquarters of the Malaga Film Festival, the Albeniz Cinema. We will continue our tour with a trip to the past, delighting us with the Roman Theater under the impressive Alcazaba Malagueña. We will see the spectacular buildings that house the Rectorate of the University, the Bank of Spain, and the City Hall. We will finish our visit at pier one, a promenade that opens the city to the sea, where we will be able to see the impressive cruise-ship passengers that dock there.
Once our guided visit is over, we will rest after the walk, refreshing ourselves with the pleasant sea breeze on a Catamaran ride. We will enter the sea and take a beautiful sailing trip along the coast and in the open sea, from where we will enjoy the views of the bay, the Malagueta beach and the city of Malaga, all crowned with the mountains of the Montes de Malaga behind. The spacious catamaran offers us the possibility to go sitting or lying on the net over the sea while admiring the beautiful coast of Malaga.
After the catamaran ride, we will have to recharge our batteries for the rest of the day. We will have free time for everyone to have lunch where they choose.
After lunch, our bus will take us to the picturesque village of Mijas, with its traditional donkey cab. Once there, we will have free time to discover the charming corners and craft stores of this town, until our bus picks us up to return to the Costa del Sol.
