Tauranga: Rotorua Redwoods Tour & Maori Village Experience

As we start from the Cruise Ship Terminal at the Port of Tauranga, we shall meet you and look to commence our journey at pre-arranged time.
As we embark on our journey along the Mount Maunganui Coast we shall visit Adventure and Cultural Tours BOP with a brief stop at a Kiwifruit Orchard on the way to Rotorua.
Our first official stop of approximately 1.5 hours into our journey shall be in Rotorua at the renowned Redwood Forest. It is here that you shall embark on the canopy treewalk which really is a step into paradise with Californian Redwoods and some of our local fauna.
Our second primary stop shall be at one of the longest running tourist destinations in the region. Whakarewarewa Maori Village have been hosting guests for over 200 years through their land which boasts thermal activities, mud pools and the largest Geyser in the Southern Hemisphere. It is here that you shall also be provided with light lunch cooked in traditional Maori fashion. With a guided tour of the village and a cultural Maori performance ‘Haka' we shall spend around 2 hours at the village prior to our return journey to the Port of Tauranga.

This day shall be in one of our comfortable Mercedes vehicles or similar. Provision of refreshments and snacks plus Wi-Fi throughout your journey with us. This is a family friendly day tour of approximately 6.5 hours duration. Rest assured this tour operates in conjunction with Cruise Ship timetable and ensures safe return prior to docking requirements.
