Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali to Nyungwe National Park
After being picked up from Kigali, transfer to Nyungwe National Park, the home of chimpanzees. The journey south-west passes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that characterize much of Rwanda's landscape.

Arrive at the park and enter the forest for a canopy walk experience. Suspended above a ravine amidst the lush vegetation and montane forest of the Nyungwe National Park, the canopy walk offers participants an exhilarating perspective atop the ancient treetops and wildlife.

The 160-meter-long suspended bridge is accessible as a part of a guided hike along the Igishigishigi trail or those hiking the Imbaraga and Umuyove trails. After the 2-hour activity, have lunch and check in to your hotel. Enjoy the property amenities and relax all evening until dinner and rest.

Day 2: Nyungwe Forest National Park for Chimpanzee Trekking and back to Kigali
Enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a thrilling hike in search of chimpanzee communities. The Rwandan chimpanzee population is thought to consist of approximately 400-500 individuals, confined to the Nyungwe National Park, including a small community in the Cyamudongo Forest.

Prepare to hear these excitable primates before you see them, as their pant-hoots travel through the deep forest. During your hike, you may also spot migratory birdlife including the Ross' turaco, grey-cheeked hornbill, red-breasted sparrow hawk, and regal sunbird.

After the hike, have lunch and head back to Kigali. Check in to the hotel and have dinner before resting for the night.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Experiences
Rise up very early in the morning at 04:00 AM and have breakfast before proceeding to Volcano National Park in Musanze district. Head straight to the park offices for a briefing about the gorillas and allocation of gorilla groups and guides.

Get into the tropical rainforest and search for the mountain gorillas starting from where they were the previous day until you find them. You will find them doing their daily chores of feeding their young ones, climbing trees, and others just relaxing.

Take your best photographs having switched off your flash. After the trek, head to your lodge for check-in and have lunch. Proceed with an afternoon cultural experience at the Gorilla Guardians Village, formerly the Iby'iwacu culture village center.

After the cultural experience, have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 4: Drive back to Kigali - City Tour - Drop Off
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and have time to do some shopping in craft centers in Musanze town for viewing and purchasing souvenirs. Afterward, be transferred back to Kigali.

Depending on your flight schedule, be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight.
