Mystic Tours by Sintra

Our activity begins at the meeting point at Portela de Sintra Station.
We will travel by van to the Sanctuary of Santa Eufémia, one of the Peñas, considered sacred since ancient times and throughout the centuries. We then head to the center of Sintra, where we stop at the Sabuga Fountain to discover the Sacred Water of Sintra. We catch a glimpse of the National Palace and stop to take photos and learn about its historical context. Next, we visit the stunning and enigmatic masterpiece of Quinta da Regaleira, an example of the alchemical and mystical expression of Sintra with its Initiation Tower. We pass through Seteais and follow the forest road to the Monserrate Palace, one of the beautiful examples of the Romantic Palaces and Gardens of Sintra.
We continue through Colares, climbing the mountains to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe.
After this, we stop for lunch or brunch.
We return to Sintra along the coast, passing Praia das Maçãs and Azenhas do Mar.
In Sintra, we return through the historic center and climb the mountains, passing the Chalet Biester, the Moorish Castle, and finally the Pena Palace. After stopping at various locations to take photos and appreciate the palaces in their historical context, we will visit the exterior of the Pena Palace and Gardens.
At the end, we will return to the meeting point, or you can visit the historic center and then stroll through the village to the train station, about a 10-minute walk.
