Through this hike tour, you will be able to see the outstanding view of Kyoto city including Kiyomizu temple, and understand the history behind it.
After reaching our viewing point, we will take a break to enjoy the panoramic views of Kyoto city, and especially Kiyomizu temple, that will be etched in your mind as a special memory of your trip here.
We will also enjoy onigiri, Japan's most beloved and traditional rice ball– just rice, a bit of salt, and a filling like tuna with mayonnaise or salmon, all shaped by hand. We will give out two onigiri per person. They've been part of Japanese life for centuries, carried in lunchboxes, shared on trips, and made with care at home. We're going to enjoy them the way many people in Japan do – outside, in nature, after a good walk.
On top of the mountain, we will visit Houkoku-byo Mausoleum, which is associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the powerful leader who unified Japan. You can enjoy walking while feeling the harmony of Kyoto history & nature.
We are sure you will enjoy a blissful moment along with a sense of accomplishment when you finish the hike.
