Reviews: From Ålesund: Winter Fjord Cruise to Geirangerfjord

The nature and the descriptions in German were good. The food could be better for the price. A hot soup would have been nice and simple. The windows were very dirty, and the side view was poor.

If there's one thing I can say about the tour, it's that it's an experience no one visiting Norway should miss (unless the weather isn't ideal). The tour is excellent; it's quite cold outside the boat, so dress warmly when you go ashore to enjoy the beautiful views of the fjords. The village of Geiranger is magical, small but charming. I loved the entire tour, especially the breathtaking views.

It's almost nicer than being on a big ship because you're lower down and there are no windows in front of you.
Reviews: Geiranger Fjord Tour from Geiranger (with stop in Hellesylt)
Guest User2025-09-14
The fjord boat tour offered stunning scenery throughout the trip. The breathtaking views of the fjords and surrounding landscapes truly made the experience unforgettable. The fjord boat tour was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Check-in was smooth and efficient with a convenient QR code system, making boarding hassle-free. Early in the trip, we had the unique opportunity to taste fresh water from a waterfall, which was surprisingly refreshing. The views in Hellesylt were absolutely stunning—a picturesque location made even more exciting knowing it served as a filming site for Mission Impossible. There is a displau of motorbikes used by Tom Cruise. Overall, a beautiful and well-organized journey that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

A really great tour! It would be even better if you could book the outbound and return journeys in one go.
