Reviews: Chiang Mai: Amazing! Doi Suthep & Wat Umong Night Tour with Guide

As an international tour group, I was forced to practice my English listening skills for almost four hours. The night view was beautiful, and the half-day tour wasn't tiring.

Amazing. The night tour is well worth it. The view over chiang mai city, the lit up temple and be sure to walk up if you can. Its not as hard as it sounds. It just looks great

Excellent guide very knowledge and fun to chat with. It was awesome being up so early and climbing the steps to the temple in the dark and be on top looking over Chiang Mai for the sunrise. Other temples were also really worth a visit. Brilliant tour it is a must do for anyone
Reviews: [Special Offer] Chiang Mai Doi Suthep & Wat Phra That Doi Suthep 1-day Tour with Private Charter|8-hour Service|Multiple routes available

On my fourth day of my five-day trip to Chiang Mai, I decided to visit Doi Suthep. There were many travel agencies on the street, but I couldn't get through to them, so I went to Trip.com and found a half-day tour with a reasonable price, so I signed up. I booked the tour on the third night, and within half an hour, customer service contacted me to inform me of the itinerary and the next day's arrangements. The tour was scheduled to meet me at the hotel lobby at 2 PM. The driver arrived ten minutes early and was looking for me everywhere. They used a Toyota Corolla, which was very comfortable with good air conditioning and suspension. The driver was polite, drove steadily, and wasn't overly talkative. He didn't ask for a tip after the tour, which was commendable. He frequently told me about Chiang Mai's famous sights during the trip. His service was excellent. Finally, I recommend everyone to join their tours; I will definitely join them again next time I'm in another city.
Reviews: WAT UMONG Temples and DOI SUTHEP Evening Tour

The guide shared a wealth of knowledge about Thai culture in a way that was both educational and entertaining. Doi Suthep is a magnificent site, and the climb up the steps is well worth the effort. The temple is still inhabited by Buddhist monks, who perform their daily rituals there. We were fortunate enough to hear their chanting, which made the experience even more immersive.
Reviews: Chiang Mai: Doi Suthep Summit Trek – 7 Hour Pure Hiking Adventure

Wow this was an amazing hike ! It was definitely hard - over 3000 ft elevation gain and about 6-7 miles distance - but split up in sections which helped. We visited 2 temples plus the Karen village. Had an excellent lunch plus coffee and snacks (coffee and snacks at your own expense). Beautiful overlooks and scenery! The guide was great and the lunch was so good ! Highly recommended but not for beginner hikers.
