Byron Bay: Whale Watching Tour

Our marine scientist-guided whale watching boat tour is the only one launching from Byron Bay and offers you the opportunity to appreciate these magnificent creatures during their annual migration - one of the longest of any mammal!

Meet us at our shop in central Byron Bay, where our crew will go through a curated safety briefing to ensure the smooth-sailing of the trip. Enjoy the scenery on our short transfer to The Pass, where the adventure begins! Our tours are expedition style, launching directly from one of Byron's most well known beaches. We will navigate through the amazing waters of Cape Byron Marine Park: enjoy the view of significant landmarks such as Byron Lighthouse from a different perspective!

Our tours are curated for small groups (8 passengers maximum), with expereinced marine scientists on board ready to answer all your humpback whales trivia and curiosities! The 360° view allows all our guests to see the whales from every angle, while still ensuring maximum safety and comfort with our central seats.

As we launch from the beach, you might get wet up to your waist while boarding - we reccomend wearing shorts or loose trousers you can roll up, or swimsuit.

If you suffer from seasickness, we reccomend you bring seasickness tablet as we are not allowed to administer them ourselves.
