Reviews: Full-Day Gomera Jeep Safari from Puerto de La Cruz

Good points: driver was an absolute gem. Really kind and helpful. The trip itself was great. Lots of stops for views and info. Spectacular scenery. Very efficiently organised. Not so good: be prepared for the mass food dinner operation. But I guess this is what to expect on a mass group activity and to be fair it was tasty. Another traveller was clearly very upset by personal comments from her Jeep driver. There is no real off road experience although some of the drive is exciting up narrow roads and through small towns but if you are expecting some routes through rough terrain you will not get that at all.

It was very entertaining. We couldn't see the Roques due to bad weather, but other than that, it was fantastic. Hector was an excellent guide.
Reviews: From Tenerife: Guided Tour to La Gomera with Ferry Ticket

A brilliant trip from start to finish. Picked up on time from hotel, the ferry crossing was fast and comfortable with our transport waiting for us when we arrived. Then followed a very nice sightseeing tour of the island stopping for photos at the main viewpoints before arriving at Las Rosas restaurant for an excellent 3 course traditional lunch with wine and a silba whistle language demonstration. We then headed into the Garajonay national park and had an hour or so to walk the trails and experience the laurisilva forests before heading back to San Sebastián for a guided walk of the towns Church and places of interest. Ferry journey and return bus all perfectly timed and I would certainly recommend this trip!

It was a perfect day! Manuel was a fantastic guide. I especially appreciated that he also shared a lot about the local plants. Lunch was delicious! I would definitely book the tour again.
Reviews: Full Day Guided Tour to La Gomera from Tenerife

Great full day tour in La Gomera. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. We were driven to the port in Los Cristianos and got the ferry to La Gomera. This was a fun experience in itself! Our tour guide José was excellent, extremely informative and knowledgable and answered any questions. He spoke at least 3 languages, Spanish, English and German. Our coach driver Francisco was very skilled at navigating the tight and winding roads, some just single lanes, through the mountains. La Gomera is an amazing country with breathtaking views, where the clouds are touching the mountain tops and a beautiful forest. San Sebastián was interesting with a statue of Christopher Columbus. The trip included a 3 course lunch with wine and we had a demonstration of a local whistling language silbo gomero which is a whistled language practised by some inhabitants of the Canary Islands to communicate across ravines. It was very interesting. We had plenty of stops for photos of the stunning views and rest stops for refreshments along the way. Probably the best guided tour we’ve ever been on and we thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it. La Gomera is definitely worth visiting as it’s truly beautiful.
