The Alcazar of Seville is a palace complex, which embraces different styles and cultures with Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque influences. According to UNESCO, it is the oldest royal palace in use and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, along with the Cathedral and the Archivo General de Indias.
It has been the production set of films like The Kingdom of the Skies by Ridley Scott or the fifth season of the series Game of Thrones by HBO. The Alcazar was chosen by this television program to represent the kingdom of Dorne, created by George RR Martin.
