This is a perfect tour to complement the more ancient history of Carcassonne so steeped in history of earlier centuries. Paul is is an excellent tour guide , informative and fun while respectful of the time of occupation. Well paced .Highly recommended.

This is a no fuss, excellent informative way of taking your time around the castle walls, with the flexibility of being able to stop/rest at any time, then carrying on at your own pace. I thoroughly recommend.

The tour was great! Our guide, Amelie, was very knowledgeable and added so much to the experience (including making the drive enjoyable). The only complaint, as such, would be that the Get Tour Guide app pointed us to the wrong meeting point, causing us to nearly miss the tour. Fortunately, we did not and managed to find our group before it was too late.

The audio guide was an excellent way to tour the castle and ramparts. We enjoyed hearing about all the angst and turmoil that the castle has been through. It was interesting to learn about the construction in the different eras as well as how the current structure evolved. This is definitely a worthwhile experience!


