Itinerary
The tour begins in Piazza Santa Maria Novella, a beautiful square known for its impressive basilica and elegant Renaissance architecture. From here, you step directly into the heart of Florence's history and culture. Throughout the walk, your guide will also explain traditional Florentine food culture and typical local dishes, providing detailed descriptions without any tastings included.

Your first stop is an authentic wine window, a small opening once used by noble families to sell wine directly from their palaces. The tour continues to Palazzo Strozzi, one of the finest Renaissance buildings in Italy, and then along Via Tornabuoni, Florence's luxury fashion street lined with designer boutiques and historic palaces.

You will then admire Palazzo Spini Feroni, now home to the Ferragamo Museum, before reaching the elegant Ponte Santa Trinita, which offers one of the best views of the legendary Ponte Vecchio. Crossing into the Oltrarno district—considered the most authentic area of Florence—you will discover its artisan atmosphere and learn the story of Palazzo di Bianca Cappello, connected to one of the city's most fascinating historical romances.

The walk continues to Piazza Santo Spirito, a lively square dominated by Brunelleschi's Basilica of Santo Spirito, and onward to the monumental Palazzo Pitti, the former Medici residence. Returning toward the river, you will step onto the iconic Ponte Vecchio, famous for its historic jewelry shops and its exceptional view over the Arno.

As you move back toward the historic center, you will pass through the courtyard of the Uffizi Gallery—one of the most visited museums in the world—and arrive in Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence and an open-air museum of Renaissance sculpture. A short walk leads to Orsanmichele, a unique Gothic church adorned with masterpieces by Donatello and other major Florentine artists.

The tour continues to Piazza della Repubblica, a vibrant square surrounded by historic cafés and elegant archways, where you can admire the iconic Caffè Gilli. Your experience concludes in Piazza del Duomo, home to Florence's most famous monuments: the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi's Dome, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with its renowned bronze doors. This monumental square provides the perfect final stop for unforgettable photographs and a complete introduction to Florence's artistic heritage.
