Start the day with a guided hike in nature just outside Stockholm. Walk through peaceful forests, across rocky terrain, and up to scenic viewpoints overlooking lakes and the surrounding landscape.
The tour begins at our office right next to the nature reserve. From here, your guide leads you straight into the forest, following trails through pine woods, across granite cliffs, and to elevated viewpoints along the way. During the hike, your guide shares insights about the area, Swedish outdoor culture, and the geology that shaped this unique environment.
The hike is active but relaxed and designed for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors and discovering nature close to the city. The total tour duration is around 5 hours, including breaks and a campfire lunch. During the hike we cover around 10 to 12 km, with approximately 3 to 3.5 hours of walking spread throughout the experience.
Wildlife can sometimes be seen in the reserve, such as deer or birds, but sightings are never guaranteed as this is not a dedicated wildlife safari. During the hike, we stop for a campfire cooked lunch in a quiet forest setting by a lake. Depending on the season, the lakes may freeze over in winter and can sometimes be crossed on foot, while in summer there is the chance for a refreshing swim.
The tour ends with a short 15 minute bus ride back to town, finishing at Slussen subway station.
