Reviews: Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague Day Tour Incl. Hotel Pick Up, Small Group Tour

A huge thank you to our driver and guide, Surui, for her patient explanations throughout the day. The itinerary was incredibly chill, allowing us to enjoy the scenery of three cities, each with its own unique charm. The Hague, the administrative and cultural center, is definitely worth a visit—less crowded and brimming with cultural richness. Finding a cozy café in The Hague city center, enjoying the sunshine, and soaking up the Dutch atmosphere was a wonderful experience. Traveling by train alone could have been quite monotonous, and we might not have been able to appreciate as much of the local character. Surui also gave us ample free time. A fantastic itinerary!

The boat trip through the port of Rotterdam takes just over an hour. You see a lot, and explanations are given over the loudspeakers in several languages. It was very interesting. Due to the weather, we sat inside on the first floor, past the bar, with a large panoramic window behind us – a great view.

Our guide had trained as an architect and clearly knew her stuff. She provided good historic and contemporary context for what we were seeing. We did this as a day trip from Amsterdam and it was well worth it.
