Canakkale: Full-Day Ancient Troy and Museum of Troy Tour

The tour starts at the door of your Çanakkale accommodation at 10:00AM. From there, take a 30-minute trip to the ancient city of Troy. Throughout the tour your guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, as well as the history and discoveries of the archaeological excavations. This ranges from its discovery by Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870s through to the present day. Nine cities have been discovered here, built one on top of the other and dating back to before 3500 B.C.
