Enjoy a scenic drive with convenient transfers from Cusco
Walk across the Q'eswachaka Bridge - the last Inca bridge
Itinerary
Start the tour with pickup from your hotel between 4:30 AM and 5 AM, then, set off in a private van for 2 hours towards the city of Combapata. Stop here for a continental breakfast before continuing traveling for 1 more hour. During the drive, admire views of the beautiful landscapes and the Salcca River - the sacred river of the Incas.

Next, continue your trip to Yanaoca, which is 1 of the 8 districts in the Canas de Cusco province. Take a look at the Q'eswachaka Bridge - an old suspension bridge that crosses between the steep rocky cliffs and spans the Apurimac River. Marvel at the construction, the last remaining Inca rope bridge made from ropes made of grass. Leave the vehicle and descend a steep path to a viewpoint to take photos, before carefully crossing the bridge. Prepare for the adrenaline rush of your life as you walk along the swinging bridge. Try not to look down into the canyon which stretches for many meters below.

After visiting the bridge, drive to Combapata for a quick lunch break. Then, set off for the lake district which is home to the 4 famous lagoons: Pampamarca, Asnacqoccha, Acopia, and Pomacanchi. When you arrive, marvel at these stretches of water which are nestled like jewels among the golden-green hills, glowing in the warm afternoon. Observe the native flamingos and other birds as they fly and feed around its edges. Finally, return to Cusco between around 4:30 PM - 5 PM, where you will be dropped off back at your hotel and the tour concludes.
