Reykjavík: Northern Lights Cruise

The stage is set to experience one of nature's most magnificent phenomena on this Northern Lights & City Cruise, starting from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík.

As we sail into Faxaflói bay, enjoy immaculate views of Reykjavík's glittering shoreline, including landmarks such as Harpa Concert Hall and Hallgrímskirkja church, beautifully illuminated against the night sky. When the Imagine Peace Tower is lit (October-December), we sail by to admire its radiant beam before heading further into the bay.

On board, you can relax in the heated indoor saloon with comfortable seating, or step out onto the open viewing platforms for an uninterrupted panorama of sea and sky. Warm overalls are available to borrow, and our onboard café sells hot drinks and snacks to keep you cosy throughout the journey.

Settle down for Mother Nature to start her tricks as your guide keeps you well informed and calls out once the Northern Lights begin. Of course, nothing in nature is guaranteed, but the expert guide and captain will always check the weather and forecast before the tour to optimise your chances of a view.
