Experience the best of Bruny Island on board our Bruny Island Food, Sightseeing and Lighthouse Day Tour.
Start the day with Bruny Island oysters, cheeses and freshly baked bread on a secluded beach for morning tea ‘our way' before a day of exploring Bruny Island. The tour includes an exclusive guided tour of Cape Bruny Lighthouse, the only Lighthouse in Southern Tasmania open for tours and only available with Bruny Island Safaris.
After a tasty morning tea, we will drive through Adventure Bay in search of a Bennet's white wallaby. These albino wallabies are known to hang out around Adventure Bay, and after thousands of tours, our guides know where to find them (sometimes!). Before lunch, we will take a drive through the stunning rainforest found on Bruny Island (weather permitting).
Enjoy a one-course lunch at Hotel Bruny, included in the tour price. After lunch, tastings of chocolate, fudge and honey can be enjoyed at Bruny Island Chocolate Co and Bruny Island Honey.
Climb the stairs to the Truganini Lookout at The Neck for 360-degree views of Bruny Island; alternative walks are available for those who do not wish to walk up the 279 stairs. Throughout the day, we will visit other scenic locations and lookouts such as Mabel Bay Lookout and South Bruny National Park.
Our own Company Director, Craig Parsey, spent some of his childhood at Cape Bruny Lighthouse when his father was the Lighthouse Keeper. Our tours have been designed by Craig, providing a unique and local insight into each tour we operate to Bruny Island.
This tour is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Please contact us before booking infants and toddlers.
Due to safety regulations, children under 5 years are unable to participate in the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Tour, but can walk around inside at the base under the supervision of an adult.
