We had a great time. Our guide Ana was excellent, she has a natural light fun energy which carried us through the day well. She was very informative and helpful, even providing us with extra information relating to the origin of seaglass on the beach next to the red tower. This was our favourite tour so far in Turkey, all the locations we visited were briliant and the food was lovely. Highly recommend.

Everything is great, the city is pleasant, the wall is cool and very beautiful. I recommend taking a boat ride; it's a very scenic ride and you can also see the city in the evening. The only thing I recommend is to definitely take the CABLE CAR BOTH WAYS UP and DOWN; we didn't take the return trip. And in the end, we overpaid a lot. We could have gotten it for 180 yuan roundtrip, but our guide Lucy didn't warn us that there wouldn't be enough time to walk down, and besides, we were very tired. However, for another group, the guide explained everything in more detail about the descent. In the end, we paid 130 yuan for the ascent + 130 yuan for the descent (260 yuan for the whole trip). We overpaid by 80 yuan. If you go on your own, you'll pay even more; all tours with a guide are much cheaper. They only accept Alipay; they don't accept cards or cash.

Our guide Mr Wang was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. It was an extremely informative tour, and he brought his own materials (prints) to supplement the tour to explain the history of the mansion. Great references to 还珠格格, the famous TV drama featuring a fictitious princess of the Qian Long emperor. You need to be quite fluent in Chinese and have a basic understanding of Chinese imperial history to truly appreciate what Mr Wang is sharing. Suitably impressed with the tour and I will recommend it to any history buff interested in the history of Qing dynasty.
