Sassari: hiking with donkeys in Cargeghe and aperitif

In the territory of Cargeghe, in northwest Sardinia, you can participate in a special hiking accompanied by tame donkeys, particularly suitable for families with children or those looking for relaxation.
Our local guide will lead you on a walk suitable for everyone under the banner of sustainable tourism, in which you will discover the main sites in the area, including waterfalls and domus de janas, noteworthy sites of archaeological and natural interest, completely immersed in the wilderness. Multiple stops will be made in order to delve into the history of the place, including stories and anecdotes, and at the end of the experience a tasty typical Sardinian aperitif with local products will be served.
A particularly impressive animal tour between relaxation, discovery and fun, not to be missed!

Program:
There are at least 5 stops of 10 minutes each, in the main sites of the area:
- Romanesque church of Santa Maria e Contra
- Anella waterfalls area called Siscia: here if you want you can also take a bath in the natural pools! In that case you will need to have shoes suitable for getting wet to enter the natural pools with pebbly bottom
- Ancient water mills 
- 19th century lime kiln
- Necropolis of Su Elighe Entosu with the visit of 3 domus de janas
- Reentry

Aperitif:
During the experience will be served a typical Sardinian aperitif based on: cold cuts (eg raw ham, sausage, bacon, lard) and cheeses such as ricotta, peretta and pecorino, Carasau (typical Sardinian bread), water, white and red wines.
