Porto: Douro Cruise, 6 Bridges & 4 Port Wines (Max 7)

AlmaDouro was born from a love for the river and the city. We are a small local team, not a big company, and we welcome every guest as if we were inviting friends on board.

This is not a crowded cruise. It's an intimate Douro experience: a small group (max 7 guests), warm hosting, and great Port wine , the simple kind of luxury that you feel in the details.

Your cruise starts at Douro Marina, next to the traditional fishing village of Afurada. Step onto our classic, cozy boat and relax: no microphones, no rush, no “tourist show” , just time to enjoy Porto from the river.

During the cruise (around 2 hours), you'll enjoy an informal tasting of 4 quality Port wines from small producers, selected together with Blend.pt. Each wine is served with a small pairing designed to highlight the flavors (think small bites like a touch of cheese, a sweet note or a chocolate match , not a full meal). This is not a technical tasting , it's great wine, easy conversation and scenery drifting by.

We'll sail under Porto's 6 bridges, with beautiful views of Ribeira and Vila Nova de Gaia from the water , the city at its most authentic and cinematic.

On board you'll have background music, Wi-Fi, a restroom and warm blankets on cooler days. Our goal is simple: make you feel at home while you experience Porto with care, attention and soul.

Note: the route can vary slightly depending on river conditions and traffic, but the key highlights are always the 6 bridges and the historic waterfronts.
