Itinerary
Your experience begins just a 3-minute walk from Kanazawa Station at a respected Japanese cooking school founded in 1969.
This is not a tourist studio, but a real institution where local students have learned Japanese cuisine for over five decades.

You are welcomed by the second-generation head of the school, a master chef trained in Osaka and Kanazawa.
With clear explanations and a relaxed sense of humor, he makes even complete beginners feel confident and comfortable.

Kanazawa is known as one of Japan's great seafood regions.
Using premium seasonal fish sourced from Tadamura Suisan at Omicho Market, you will learn professional knife techniques for sashimi and shape authentic Nigiri sushi.

Beyond sushi, you will prepare Jibuni, a samurai-era local specialty, and Dashi-maki Tamago, the famous fluffy rolled omelette—often described as the most fun part of the class.

The experience follows a Japanese-style group cooking approach, ending with a shared meal including miso soup and seasonal side dishes.
You will leave with new skills and a Certificate of Completion from one of Kanazawa's most respected cooking schools.
You will also receive high-quality souvenir photos taken during the experience, capturing natural moments of cooking and enjoyment.
